We called in to this lovely town after seeing a sign saying Andys famous pies, what it should have read was famous for being the worst pie you will ever consume!!!Give it a miss unless you like crap food at an expensive price.

Thought I’d get a tasty, home-made country meal from a very quaint Tasmanian bakery. Instead, we got chum.
Purchased lunch and it was terrible. Very expensive. Nothing is priced. Salad roll was dry and stale. Pepper Steak Pie was a mince meat pie. Won’t be returning.
Sure its not in the top 10 in Tasmania however we found it ok for a quick coffee and a snack. The coffee was good and hot and we ordered two sausage rolls as a snack. Baked on the premise and they were fine.
This place is just your average roadside stop. When we stopped for drinks and snacks the fridge had very little variety and the bakery section was the same. It was only mid afternoon during tourist season.
This is a bakery with reasonable bakery food even though our choices were limited by limited stock on the day The staff was pleasant enough but with little sunshine and tv on which I find distracting rather than entertaining.
