Stopped past here on a Saturday night and had a couple pre drinks before heading out for dinner around the corner. The bar is impressive, wine list was great and staff very friendly,
I would like to come back for dinner as the menu looks very good and have read a lot of positive reviews.

The restaurant/bar is pretty cool and it has indoor and outdoor / garden spot.
The vibe and environment was pretty good.
I ordered Aviary cheese burger, tomato, pickle, iceberg, ketchup, mustard for $13.00 (additional $3.00 for small chips).
The cheese burger was alright, it wasn’t the best burger we’ve ever tried.
The beef patty was grilled well, unfortunately it was under seasoned and the taste was pretty bland.
The bun was little bit soggy when I received the burger.
Personally, for this amount spent for the burger, it wasn’t too worth it because it was little bit small in size and the taste was pretty standard.
However, the chips were nice, well seasoned and crispy.

My Fiance and I had our Engagement party at The Aviary on Saturday night.
First and foremost, thanks must go to Laura, Bruce and Cate for all their organizing.
The room was set up perfectly, it looked beautiful, the bar staff were so inviting and friendly and made sure the night went without a hitch.
We could not have asked for a more perfect evening, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Likes: Delicious and affordable burgers, mushroom and Parmesan croquettes, great service
Dislike: more like a bar than a restaurant, super loud music, beetroot falafels were dry
I have been here multiple times and I really can’t fault the place. The staff are SO friendly, the atmosphere is great for any occasion, the food is always on point every. Single. Time! If you’re in the area, it’s a great place to just stop by and grab a drink, or to go out for dinner with friends. Thanks for always being consistent guys!
We came here for a farewell so no food but plenty of drinks. Definitely a casual atmosphere and a very relaxed crowd. From what I could see the food looked appealing so a return visit may be in order. The evening ended on an annoyance as my phone was dead so uber was not an option and I waited roughly nine million years for a cab to come past to take me home. Quite the seedy area too so not ideal. I guess taxis are a dying breed
Came in for lunch with family on a saturday and had a selection of small plates, the taramosalata dip and porcini croquette were delicious! The burgers were amazing. The chocolate bar won me over i will definitely be back for more!!!
