Pleasantly surprised! We ordered the vegetarian and margarita. Vegetarian was great, lots of flavour. Only thing was the base was a bit soggy. The food came in half an hour and the delivery driver was lovely. Would definitely order again. Thanks for saving me from my hangover!

Would I get it again, probably not.
This place uses the matchstick factory made ham and olives were sour to a point we think it was off.
We had to pick all the olives off the pizza.
In the area for a meeting and in a rush so decided to grab the closest thing. Billys.
I didnt have huge expectations but was pleasently suprised. The lunch special (small pizza and a can of drink – no chips anymore) for $8.90 (mexicana) was nice. Crunchy base good amount of fresh toppings.

Tastes fresh, not oily and nice and crispy. Have ordered the 2 pizza/garlicbread/drink deal a bunch of times and it is always satisfying. Good place IMO
Nothing special, typical old school style pizzas. Reasonably priced, however the staple ingredients lack taste (tomato sauce, cheese, ham). The Large Size pizza is also smaller then average.
Billy’s pizza joint is a big step up from the old Encore place that used to be here. It’s cheap and not too shabby, the Billies special is a good choice! Tried a couple of the others which have not been so good so I stick with the billies special. Not bad not bad
Billy’s Pizza is a great place to go for pizza. We’ve been a couple of times and have never been let down. As locals of Collingwood, we have access to Brunswick St and Smith St restaurants but you can’t go past this one. My partner is really fussy, but he has been impressed with the quality of the food. We’ve only ordered pizza so don’t know about other things on the menu. The toppings taste super fresh and plenty of them, the business looks lovely and clean ( a must for me), and very friendly service which was fast.
I can’t understand some customers lower rating, I believe there may have been a takeover of the business? So, anyone reading my review, give them a go because you’ll be pleasantly surprised. My brother stayed with us for a few weeks and being a fellow pizza lover like my partner, I recommended he try them and thought it was great.
Although there is seating, it’s not your typical restaurant look, but if you want great tasting, generous servings of food, then try it. It’s more like your take away type pizza place.
I think the owner served us and I hope he reads this as feedback to keep up the good work because we wish them every success ! In other words, stick to the formula, Billy’s, because you’re on a winner.
