The poor review here is probably due to customer service rather than food. I tried various foods. The food was fine. It would be better if you care more about the service.

I would have rate it lower if not for the reasonably good value for money for its all-you-can-eat deal. $69 for 2 and it includes a variety of meat, fried chicken, kimchi pancake, japchae, soups, rice and of course, who could forget the side dishes and lettuce.

Unfortunately the quality of the meats, and the taste and execution of the dishes fall short. The japchae was too oily, and the soybean paste stew was quite bland. The beef and ribs were tough, and the bulgogi meats could benefit from a longer marinade time. The pork belly was one of the better cuts – not too fatty, and quite tender.

The boneless fried chicken was surprisingly decent, with a good amount of crunchy batter and the meat inside wasn’t too dry. I also liked the kimchi pancake; strong flavours and good texture.

Other reviews mentioned bad service, but maybe since we were the only other occupied table in the restaurant, service was prompt and accommodating.

We were in Richmond doing grocery shopping and we walked past this restaurant many times but never tried.

Finally we decided to try this place as we havent had Korean BBQ for ages.

This is the only menu they gave us $69 all you can eat for 2.

the pork dishes were tasteless except the spicy one
The beef steak was really chewy
sauce plate is too small and not enough sauce (they will refill upon request)
the kimchi soup was really sour and the pork belly inside the soup got funny smell (= stinky)
chicken ribs were also off.. could taste the sourness…
rice was served even before we had our meat served and they turned out to be cold and hard when the meats were finally cooked
the hot plate would easily be burnt
but they would exchange the hot plates for you upon request

Deep fried chicken was full of flour batter
Ran out of lettuce at 6.30pm (their shop is surrounded by grocery shops)

The marinated pork & beef are way better than their pork dishes
… but.. sorry.. dont think we will not come back again..
