Attached to a bike store, this cafe has a nice interior design; its plant-filled and modern with an obvious concept of bicycles; as seen in the coffee-table books, magazines, paintings etc… They were out of chia pudding so we opted for granola instead. Unfortunately, it wasnt very tasty. The smashed avo was better. Anyway, I do like the coffee here. Like other reviews, I agree that theres little to no customer service. But at least the owners dog is cute to look at 🙂
My partner and I stopped here for coffee as it caught our eye during our ride. The set up of this cafe is very cute and the coffee is great.
However, the customer service is shocking. The morning that we went, we were the only customers in the cafe; we received no acknowledgment let alone a smile. They didnt engage in conversation with us at all and seemed very bored. I felt like an unwelcomed guest.
We decided to give them another chance a couple of months later because we wanted to see their cute pup (Ollie) but received the same poor, lacklustre service.
Its such a shame because the concept is fantastic – cycling and coffee go hand in hand. Given the amount of other fantastic cafes in Melbournes coffee scene and the number of cyclists that pass through Abbotsford, I would take a long hard look at how youre running your business.
Ive given an extra star because Ollie is the cutest.

I have wanted to call into this bicycle cafe for some time now, but Ive kept missing my opportunity until today.
The service was just ok and the staff looked really bored and disengaged.
I ordered a piccolo latte, and when I overheard the barista asking the waitress what Id ordered I felt that something was wrong.
When the waitress gave me a half a glass of what looked like watery coffee, I was worried. There was no froth, it looked like it was poured w day old milk.
And it was undrinkable!! I took the coffee back to the counter and told the waitress ana the barista that this wasnt a piccolo latte and I was offered another coffee as youve already paid for it! Yes $4 for something that I couldnt drink. And no refund was offered.
I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! What a horrible experience. If I could give this place a negative score I would. Please dont go there.
