Nice cafe in the farm. It was great to enjoy a coffee will our toddler follow chickens. We love this place. Variety of farm animals and activities.
This is a lovely cafe, after wandering around the convent it was lovely to be able to relax at this cafe. Its a great outdoor venue, and the food was lovely!
Great relaxed, dog friendly location with good coffee. Unfortunately, the overpriced food we ordered was very disappointing. I ordered the charcuterie board which should be renamed to snack plate because lets be honest, bit of a stretch and my partner ordered the pulled pork which tasted more like chicken than pork. Had a second lunch at the Convent Bakery to be completely satisfied. Pickles were good though!
Yummy brekky in interesting surrounds! The service is rustic, the seating somewhat haphazard – if you eat on a farm you have to expect some spare animals and their poo… its a shame the eating area isnt a bit bigger as one tends to come here with the kids and the odd high chair needs a bit more space.
I loved my poached eggs with a sesame coated avocado and some tasty sides (pickles) and the kids each polished off a hearty big breakfast… my friends younger kids had kids meals which were small and basic.
Great novel place for a catch up with young kids!
This casual and relaxed cafe is located in the Abbostford children’s farm. Stopping for a pit stop during our weekend bike ride, the place was crowded when we arrived around 11.30am. We weren’t hungry, so we only ordered 2 iced coffees which were great. I would come back to try the food another time. It’s a really lovely place for brunch to catch up with friends or for families to bring the kids for a nice weekend out.
Polite and kind staff. Deliciously hot and generous, tasty farm fresh food with elegance and a difference. Will definitely be back. Photo is of my smoked trout Croquettes with fried egg and toast. Yum!
Bland bland bland. Not even the friendly service could save this meal. We had the lentil dahl and the farmers breakfast. Both dishes were very average and lacked flavour. As a last resort we even added salt (which we never ever do) but that didnt help either.
