Food was great, coffee was delicious and hot. Seating is a little bit sparse and you basically walk through the kitchen to get to the outside section, but nevertheless, it was good and Id come back.

This cafe is an amazing find for such a little strip. Quick, friendly service. Coffee was good. Meals are well priced, interesting & really well cooked.

Everything we have eaten from here is delicious, and there is a lot on the menu we still need to try. The chef has a great palate and everything he puts together works really well. Run by a very nice family and everything is well priced. There is nothing that comes close to this place in surrounding suburbs.

I’ve been here three times, and the food is consistently brilliant. The prices are great, and so is the Stuffed Chicken. If they had a location with more foot traffic, they would absolutely kill it.

I visit Cress 8 often and have never been disappointed by the great food at this little family-run cafe. Had the chicken schnitzel with chips and mushroom sauce a couple of nights ago. Portion was large with the chicken cooked perfectly, chips were crispy and seasoned well, sauteed greens were a great accompaniment and weren’t overdone, and the mushroom sauce was legit and full of flavour. For $20 you can’t go wrong at this place!

Friendliest and yummiest cafe/restaurant in this part of Melbourne. Delicious freshly prepared food, pizzas simply amazing and kids menu that keeps the littlies happy and well fed. Specials are always tasty- I really love the Sri Lankan and Thai dishes that appear from time to time. Definitely worth a visit!
