So we’re going to only give this place a 2.5 seeming as they were the only shop open on New Years day at around 10am with Ubereats delivery. Wanting a very relaxed and carefree day before going back to work tomorrow, Cress 8 was the only place open with delivery and we hadn’t ordered from there before so order we did. In hindsight, we should’ve just cooked.

We had ordered the Beef Ragu & Sausage Pasta totalling $41.0. We had said to ourselves that at the time we ordered that the pasta better be good because the cost is up there.

Ragu beef and Pasta was cooked quite well we must say but seasoning…do people not season or taste their food before serving? The sausage pasta came in the form of pork mince (not chunks just bits of mince) with quite well cooked pasta but was swimming in oil and wasn’t seasoned very well! Again!. Quality of oil was sub par and one of us ended up bringing it back up . Not impressed.

Other than that, ordering was easy, delivery came quickly and packaging of the food was sufficient to keep food warm upon arrival.

We suppose the year can only get better from ey? Till next time,

Beautiful food in a hidden set of shops in Airport West. Pork schnitzel with braised cabbages, full of flavour and you can tell it was made from scratch. We also had a Moroccan chicken pot with fresh house made flat bread. The sweets are simple but delicious, we had flourless chocolate cake and chocolate yoyo, again you can tell they were fresh. It is a shame that it is in a hidden area!! Well done guys, definitely our local favourite
