Very very pleasantly surprised. Went for a bday with very low expectations, bordering dreading it! But ordered the pork roast of the day and bf got the burger and we loved it. We even got back in the car and said we’d even consider just randomly going back as a date night! Well done skyways. I’m glad u surprised me.
I arranged a large booking of 40+ people, food was good, wait staff were rude, seemed like a chore to be served at the bar, tables were not cleared & it wasn’t until we asked them to be cleared that they were. If they thought they were understaffed they new well in advance that we had a table of 40+ so you would think you’d put enough staff on. Helen did not want to be there & was really rude when serving behind the bar AND she closed the bar at 3 pm when they could’ve made more money if they’d kept it open another 30 mins. Then they said they had to clear the place as they had to seat 200 for dinner, that would be a lie, no way would they cater for 200 for dinner on a snday night!
This place has seriously gone downhill lately. Food was disgusting and overcooked last time but manager blamed a new chef. Came again tonight for their $15 Parmarama Mondays only to be told that the deal ended last week and that they no longer have them available. Staff were smart mouthed and manager was rude. Last time we are wasting out money here.
I used to love this place as teenager. Iremember ordering the salmon of the day- which I order now days too.It It needs a re vamp along with the staff for service. Carpets need a clean and bar a wipe. Though, sadly I am not sure that it would make much difference given the customers here are primarily using the pokies.

They served the meals in batches, the food was bland, overcooked, and just awful

The salad was a finely chopped mish mash of carrots, and cucumber, and two tasteless pieces of tomatoes. My wife ordered a hamburger. Well at $21.00 the burgers are better and tastier at our local fish & chip shop.
I saw on chef dropped food from some-ones plate onto the floor, and then pick it up and put it back on the plate.
Saw another pick his nose and wipe his hands on his apron. lucky it was not the person cooking our meals.
Service is very bad and slow, and we will not be going there again.

DON’T EVER VISIT THE PLACE.
Sub par pub meals at best. Can get very busy, but not entirely sure how. The few times I have been here, I have found the food to be soggy or overcooked, occasionally both at the same time. Drinks are well priced.
Never able to relax and have a perfect dining experience here. The space is too open and noise polluted. The buzzer system they use is inconvenient and cheapens the dining experience. The food is quite nice, typical pub style, yet does not quite justify the price.
