Only open for coffees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In other words no use for golfers. When it was open on Thursdays it was lovely. Now it is just a disappointment. Not even the kiosk is open.

Greenfields, Albert Park, cafe! What location, lovely setup with wicker couches etc overlooking the lake. On a warm day like today it was so relaxing just sitting in the sun on the couches. Food – they have a very limited menu however almost 50% of it is vegetarian so all smiles alternative dishes as I like to call it – using grains/ pulses and flavour combinations you wouldnt think of. Loved it – even the wedges that look a bit dull tasted pretty good! Featured here is a beetroot brioche with goats cheese and spelt spaghetti. Must must visit. @greenfieldsalbertpark #rating4.5 #itsahardlife #lovemylife #vegetarian #vegetarianfood #vegetarianrocks #saturdaylunch #melbournesummer #summerishere #sunnydays #relaxinsun #vegbourne #vegetarianblogger #instablogger #foodblogger #foodielife #albertpark #foodieforlife #brunch #melbournebesteats #melbournebrunch #igersmelbourne

We were invited to Greenfields Albert Park Sunday Safari Summer Series event. The venue is spacious, green (close by the golf course) and overlooks the stunning views of Albert park lakes. The live music and bbq started around 4pm. We had the bbq lamb cutlets and chicken tenderloins with a side of fries and rainbow slaw). The aperol spritz cocktails were also great!
Overall the live band, sunshine and bbq by the lake was a great way to spend our Sunday afternoon with friends.

Great location and the staff seem pretty happy and engaged. We went there for breakfast and unfortunately the food is a real let down. We had the big breakfast, straight scrambled eggs, pancakes and the toast fingers. All were disappointing for various reasons. I would love to see this place succeed.

I had an event at Greenfields yesterday. The service, food and cocktails were absolutely exceptional. Was such a beautiful space to have lunch.

Love a quiet cafe in the midst of a beautiful park? Then you need to visit this cafe. Located at beautiful Albert Park not too far away from public transport this cafe inspires with its health inspired menu.

The food: small curated menu with focus on items with healthy ingredients and lots of greens. I had the sticky flaxseeds with banana and figs and it was simply delicious! Not too sweet, not too sticky and full of flavours that I love. The matcha however lacked flavour which was a bit of a let down.

The service: very simply super friendly and attentive.

The location: beautifully situated near Albert park lake and with simple decor.

Would love to give this cafe a higher rating but 2 factors contributed to a rating in the 3s and not 4s – the pricing in my opinion is way too high. The flaxseed dish was $18 whereas in other cafes you can get this kind of dish for not more than $14. And as mentioned above the matcha was less than sub par. But will certainly be back in summer.
