Ive discovered this burger place through Instagram. The burgers look very appealing and appetising in the photos. Me and my partner went to the Altona branch for a try since we were in the area. Cheesy fries is one of my favourite pub or fast food to eat. I ordered cheesy-bacon fries & The Double (2x beef patty, 2x bacon, 2x cheese, B2B sauce, other sauce I cant seem to recall, and of course, the lettuce). My partner ordered The Spicy burger. Place is neat and the crew were nice and accommodating. I like the cheesy fries but the way the bacon has been cut can be improved because it was kinda chewy, dry and hard to eat. I dont mind that actually because the cheese sauce was good. My partner finds it salty. My burger (as expected) was humongous and I strongly believe it lacks a little of freshness. It only has the lettuce as the fresh element. I find The Double burger very salty and I found out it was coming from the bacon. That means it was the bacon that made the cheesy fries salty for my partners taste. Maybe I shouldve added a slice of tomato to add freshness. Bacon on my burger was quite burnt not caramelised. The brioche bun seem to be stale. On the positive side, I find the patty to be seasoned well and juicy. My partner says he had better but it can be improved by using fresh artisan bread. I will come back but only for the cheesy fries.
The Classic Soft buns are buttered and grilled. As the name suggests, its a classic combo of lettuce, onion and tomato, but I love the combination of mustard and B2B sauce. Patty was grilled medium.
The Meaty Just thinly shaved red onion providing a bit of bite and freshness. The bacon was crisp and easy to bite into, and the bbq sauce was nice and tangy.
Chunky chips had a rough, crisp coating and a fluffy inside.
With a clean interior, its a decent option for a local burger fix.

Also a big fan of their hot dogs.
