Went past today & must say I was impressed…we only had the chips with some potato cakes & Dim Sim but all were very nice & I’m looking forward to the next visit to see how all the other things tastes…the chips were excellent!!!
As to be expected due to its location, this fish and chips shop was super visit during my visit. Whilst the servers behind the counted really seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but taking my order and drying my fish n chips, the food itself was pretty decent! I think their use of good quality fresh oil pays off as the chips stayed crisp between our drive from anglesea to bells beach.
We have our regular fish and chips shop that we go to. But in all honesty, it isn’t easy to find an adequately good fish and chip when you’re on a road trip, even if it’s along the great ocean road. Happy to have discovered Anglesea Fish and Chips. Fish is fresh and serving size is generous. Food is rather greasy, but hey – it’s fish and chips! There are 2 sets of public tables and benches nearby, with a toilet not too far away.
Delicious! We got the snack pack with extra scallops. As you’d expect, the food is fairly greasy. However, the seafood was all fresh, the potato cakes were thin and crispy and the chips were perfect – crisp on the outside but lovely and moist in the middle. My favourite fish and chippery on the Great Ocean Road.

Poor service. The lady at the counter was very rude, we tried calling and the phone just rang and rang, no one picked up. Then u have to go down and wait for ages, if it’s a warm night I would try somewhere else… The fish and chips are pretty standard.. Nothing beats Apollo bay…
Burgers and chips were good. Good quick service and the order was correct.
