This is still a golf club. If you are looking for gourmet them this is not the place. The menu is as you would expect for a golf club bistro, and it is done very well. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. Two kids in tow. Comfortable relaxed venue. The kids loved seeing the kangaroos on the way in. The staff were friendly and helpful. Looks like a popular venue with visitors and locals alike. If you are looking for somewhere to have a relaxed family dinner in Anglesea, this is certainly one to consider.
Beautiful view, almost bumped into a kangaroo walking in who was hopping by! Kangaroos everywhere on course, beautifully green everywhere.
Vibe was RSL style, older guys who have finished up on the course and keen for a drink – staff were very friendly and accommodating esp since dining with a 2yo. Food was average, trio of dips was huge, same as side of chips! The main chicken and mushroom was a let down, more water then creaminess.
So beautiful venue for a drink but wouldn’t come back for a meal.
Raffles, happy hour and good food. We went to the golf club last night for dinner and arrived early to see the kangaroos before the sun set. We joined in on happy hour and the raffles. We both had nice meals from the specials board. I had the 1/2 kilo of fresh prawns and a side salad and my partner the parmi. Huge! A really nice night.

Big Fail !!!. Our Family dinner at the golf club was a big fail !!! pre cooked food re heated , CHEAP !!!! good time for the Poor management to wake up !! Visited February 2015
Beautiful views – nice atmosphere. Went there for dinner (27/1/15) – nice friendly atmosphere with great views – kangaroos foraging and ducks waddling around the course. Meals were nice… Fish n chips (2 thin fish pieces and chips), garlic prawns with plain rice in a nice garlic and oil sauce ((needed a little more salt for my liking), calamari with chips and my fussy eater, the chicken tenderloins. Meals were not big, but enough to satisfy. Family restaurant and a nice place for a meal. Recommended for nice night out for the family.
