not much pizza base sauce for great ocean road special pizza. the pizza tasted so light not much flavour
Road tripping down to Wye River so called into this well established Anglesea Pizza Pasta venue for a quick dinner. The place was literally a buzz with take away ordering when we arrived. We sat on a table and ordered a half and half large pizza with tandoori chicken on one half and a pumpkin feta pesto on the other (we asked them to exclude sundried tomatoes). Wait time for pizza was very good.
The pizza itself was more along the lines of your fully loaded style pizza vs minimalist Italian but Im certainly ok with that. The tandoori chicken was really a flavour bomb and I loved the inclusion of cashews.
Sadly the pumpkin half was a little of a letdown. We didnt see any pesto at all on this side and without it the pumpkin was quite tasteless. Perhaps just a bad pumpkin or bad choice from us as there were some super tasty looking pizzas out there.
Really mixed opinions as to whether we would come back here again. Id have another crack at a more traditional pizza next time while Kelisi was a no no no.
