Honestly i was keep doubting did I make a wrong order decision? Should I choose curry over cheese. The white cheese scallop have a very herbal scent that I don’t like, and the pastry is kinda soggy inside. So wouldn’t recommend .
The coffees were nice and the chocolate and almond croissants were good too. The service is rather quick and value for money is good. A large range of sweets and bread too.
I have no idea how this bakery got a a high rating. Regional bakeries tend to be the highlight of road trips but this place was pretty disappointing. Got the steak & mushroom pies and a sausage roll. Both were bland, pastry was soggy and just disappointing. Frozen ones from a supermarket, in my opinion, would have had more flavour. Their cake display looked promising but I won’t be coming back to try anyway.
