Had a takeaway. The selection here is the widest so far I’ve seen. However, a bit of letdown when it comes to some if the fish which had too much batter and less meat. The small portion of chips were rather too large. Overall, its just an OK.
Came here on Sunday for lunch and was actually impressed, the batter on the fish was great, tasted fresh and the price wasn’t too bad. Had the Fishermans basket which was a lot bigger than i thought it would be and definitely could fill 3/4 people. The scallops were really nice too, i’m usually not a fan of them. Great view sitting outside, would definitely come back again!
This is a very busy place on a warm, January night! We had to wait quite a while to order and then about another 20 minutes for our food, but it was really nice sitting outside in the sun. I loved the grilled fish with the herbs on top and the lightly fried prawns. Worth the wait!
Over priced. Not a co op. Tiny portions of food. Try somewhere else in town for fish and chips.
Dined here on Friday night and I was impressed. We had the fishermens basket for two with really fresh gummy flake as the fish. The flake was large compared to other places in town and perfectly battered to crispy perfection. The prawns, calamari , scallops were feat. The chip are thick old school chips so not crunchy enough. Tartare sauce was delish.
