Came here on grand final day and sat in the beer garden. It was a bit loud given the occasion but comfortable otherwise and dog friendly which was great.Beer on tap was tasty and the food was quite good – had the mexican parma and the porterhouse with mash and both were tasty. Service was a tad slow but not unexpected given the day.
Stopped for dinner here during our stay in Apollo Bay. The mulled wine was delicious and perfect after a cold day sight seeing. My husband had the steak which was very tasty and the staff were happy to substitute rice for chips for him. I had the chicken schnitzel with gravy which was delicious. All in all a lovely dinner during our honeymoon.
Good honest pub food done well in a nice environment. I had the parma and it was large and tasted great. Wife had Angus burger which was also on the large side, but delicious with really great chips! Great drinks selection from the the bar was good and service was on point.
Came here for dinner on a schnitzel night. Pub ambience is standard fare – cosy but comfortable seating. Huge, hearty parma with a generous portion of mash and veges to go with it. Or you can choose chips and salad instead. Very filling and satisfying – would stop over for dinner again if I’m in the area.
