Lived up to expectations. Service and food good. Not a cheap place, it is seafood your eating. If you’re wanting a special place to dine in a average (food wise) seaside village then this might be for you.
Came here and got seated in a booth. The sourdough bread was quite nice. We shared the paella between 3 of us and this was delicious. The broccoli looked impressive but didn’t taste that good. Service was quick and friendly.
Booked La Bimba for dinner as our ‘fancy’ dinner for our Great Ocean Road Trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We struggled to decide what to order as it all sounded incredible. The changing menu really shows how fresh the seafood is and how good the chefs are at adapting their meals every day.We opted for some oysters to start, followed by the mussels, then for main shared a king whiting and pork neck.We were pleased with everything we ordered, all fresh and well cooked. After tossing up whether or not to get the famous paella we enjoyed seeing served to various tables and it looked delicious.Would recommend this restaurant for good seafood and something a little more upmarket than usual.
