I had a lovely experience at Aya Teppanyaki on Saturday evening. I was part of a group of 5 and we were looked after well by staff and our chef made our experience really good, with lots of laughs.

I got the Yokozuna Set which was great.
For entree I went for the mixed sashimi platter and wagyu beef tataki. My favourite part was the tuna.
Mains consisted of a king prawn, salmon fillet, 2pcs scallop meat, a lamb cutlet and premium wagyu beef (cooked medium). I enjoyed all of the mains, but my favourites would have to of been the salmon and scallop meat – both cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious.
The mixed special fried rice was also really good.

Great value for money and a great feed – I would highly recommend to family/friends and I would return again.

I was invited to try out this Japanese teppanyaki place.

Firstly being seated around the table, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Modern interior and the place is clean.

The chef was very entertaining when cooking the food as well as informative on the dishes being cooked.

Lemon soy sauce , spicy mayo, sesame were the dipping sauces served to accomodate the meat. We were given the Yokozuna set that came with the entrees of the miso soup and house salad which were great for a cold day.

The entree platter was a choice of the assorted sashimi and beef tataki or the karaage chicken and edamame in which we opted for the sashimi which melted in the mouth and the beef tataki was thinly sliced.

The main dishes were quite entertaining with the chef cooking the food and doing tricks. The jumbo prawns were the starter and the chef deboned the prawn instantly. Salmon fillet was well seasoned and the japanese scallop were well cooked. Lamb cutlet and wagyu beef were tender and juicy. Mixed vegetables was average but a great meal to neatralise the meat. Lastly, fried rice which was amazing, well created and a mix of flavours.

Lastly, for dessert, creamy, hard vanilla ice cream was served and drizzled with chocolate sauce.

    Overall, a pleasant experience
