I just got home with some food from here for dinner. I placed my order in the shop and waited about half an hour for my food. I ordered a corn jack but instead, I got a spring roll. This is the second time this has happened. I also ordered some onion rings but when I got home some were calamari instead. It was a very small and basic order and this has happened multiple times now. I will not be returning to this fish and chip shop again.
This place has great fish and chips! The menu selection is huge. The $28 family pack was generous and the flake was delicious. The owners were lovely and the service outstanding. Highly recommended!
Great service and excellent food. Was unlucky to have to try the other place around the corner a few weeks ago because Edithvale Fish & Chips was closed. Big mistake. Slow service, order mixed up. Unlike the service I receive every time I go to EF&C. Keep up the good work!
Great Fish & Chips.
I just moved to Edithvale, have been there twice and had a great dinner for a great price both times.
The flake, burgers, barramundi, Potato cakes, dim sims in particular are great!
Told the wait would be 30 minutes, wait was actually 90 minutes!!! Then I asked for tartare sauce and was told it’d be an extra 60 cents… seriously, after an extra hours wait!?
Not satisfied!. I tried this joint out originally and my flake was raw on the inside and it didnt taste very good. I wouldn’t be coming back, the other store is better they make sure everything is all done and cooked
Great chips, nuggets and burger, but sadly the fish was wafer thin and coated a slab of batter. Scallops again too much batter – they barely even had been cooked. They looked like whopping scallops but ended up being the size of a 50c including roe. Can’t wait til my local re-opens…serviceable but not best in area by a long shot.
