Update – came in today for the aforementioned bagels and left with them and a jam donut. Now all this donut craze is crazy but this was the BEST donut EVER – and EVER.
Oh yum. After going across the road to the competitor I’ll be coming here every couple of days now – I’m not Jewish but love the food and a good bagel and theirs are hands down the nicest bagels out there. Sourdough is hard to tap and moist inside and the cakes – the little chocolate croissant was perfect – $12 for a heap of good bread.

Really good bread. Pumpernickel bread is the closest to the one I grew up with. Bought their stuff from Coles until googled them and found their store was a couple of minutes down Carlisle St and won’t be leaving my pennies to Coles anymore!
Get the chocolate opera cake its amazingly good!!!!
