My score 3.5 stars. J & I had lunch here a while ago on a 2 night foody getaway to Ballarat. Started off strangely as they weren’t open the first day we checked them out (even though they were meant to be) & they opened late the second day (so we nearly missed out altogether). Interior not that flash, but we had read some good reviews so proceeded on. We had a lunch special thali each – Daal, Basmati rice, Naan & (thinnish) Raita was common to both meals. Mine also had Butter chicken which I thought was ok. J’s also had Kadoo (Pumpkin masala) which was fabulous. I was jealous I hadn’t ordered it too, but we wanted to try the two options on offer. It was so good I (nicely) picked the brains of the owner & now do my version of it at home! Service was ok & they seemed to have quite a few regulars come in while we were there. Staff were really nice & we had an enjoyable (& filling) time. Cheap too!
