Amazing country fair with so many vego options too!!!. Hands down the best pie shop in Australia. For carnivores – fabulous, saucy meat pies with loads of real slow cooked meat. I was introduced by a carnivorous local and the recipies haven’t changed for decades. For the vegos – two curry pies, a spiced pumpkin/sweet potato pie and the piece de resistance – a zucchini and pupkin pie that is to die for.
They also have simple yummy treats and fresh bread rolls – again with another veg option.
And free sauce – just the way it should be.
I have been coming here for 5 years now and it is my favourite reason to come to Ballarat.

Just about every weekend we are in Ballarat we go to Australia Fare for a Sunday afternoon lunch.
Their Pies are the best in Ballarat, high quality fillings and they hold together perfectly so you get it all in your mouth and not over your hands.
Their cheese sausage rolls are amazing too.
If your after a beautiful meat pie, I can’t recommend this place enough.
