This place does not even deserve 1 star.
I came to get a few sushi rolls and a seaweed salad which cost a ludicrous sum of $35.80. The man behind the counter did not even use the till to add up the cost nor did he figure it out with a calculator. It was as though he whipped up a random sum in his head and decided that is what he will charge.
Hugely disappointed with this place and will never come back again. Nor recommend it to anyone. Sushi was below average.

Great sushi, low prices. The guy who served us was a bit rough around the edges but the sushi rolls were generously filled, the bento boxes looked excellent and the gyoza were a pleasant surprise – big, juicy and had a slight sweetness to them. Ignore the others, this place is perfectly priced for what you get. If you just look at the votes above, this sushi place is the clear winner in Ballarat and should be in Age Cheap Eats.
Ripped off 2nd time here. Be careful, the guy in here uses a calculator to add up your order (Close to his chest) and adds on significant extra!!! This is the last time, I let it go the first time, but not now! He is a rip off! He just charged me $17.80 for 2 California rolls and a small tub with a spoon of rice and 8 tiny bits of fried chicken. In my workings he added another $3.80. Social media buddy???
