Not vegitarian friendly.. They had two dishes that contained tofu. One was listed with shredded pork and the other wasn’t. However when I recieved my dish, mixed in with the mushroom was pieces of pork. No effort was made to correct this.
Yummy, will be back. Had dinner tonight, entree platter, laksa and beef rendang. Lovely food, authentically spiced and prepared. The ladies running the restaurant were very warm and inviting. We will visit regularly.

You can see the hard work the family put in to keep the restaurant a success. Food is consistently good, affordable prices and top class service from the waitress.

I’ve tried many dishes here from all the menu types, and have never been disappointed with the flavour or freshness of the food.
Don’t expect fancy or high end dishes; old classics are treated well, along with a good selection of Thai and Malaysian dishes.
Home delivery is available ( $8 charge).
Very Average! Staff was lovely but we got a banquet not a great deal of food for the money pork was dry and rice was burnt was not the best at all!
Always Great. Have had takeaway from Jade Inn several times with my friends and it’s always delicious. A nice family-run restaurant and the staff are such friendly and happy people. Best Asian takeaway in Ballarat.
I never really expect too much from the local Chinese. Same menu as everywhere else. Check. Free prawn crackers with your Friday night take away. Check. Average prices. Check. I recommend this place for its friendly service, it’s fresh tasty meals and quick home delivery. I haven’t eaten Chinese anywhere else in Ballarat, because as a rule I don’t really like it but this place does the trick. I’ve been there 3 times and it’s consistent.
