We decided to come for lunch and the special and menu looked good. The creamy vegetable soup was yum but it came with toast for which I will go into later. The pulled pork burger was nice but the coleslaw was bitter. The salt and pepper calamari was excellent. We asked for an additional spoon and so rather than coming to our table, the young server passed it through from afar. The toast tasted weird, ie not like butter, so I asked what was used on the toast for which I was told margarine. I shook my head and thought why in a good cafe would you apply a cheap ton of chemicals on toast? I told the attendant why not use butter. In response, I was told that I would now know to ask for it specifically next time. In a good cafe of which there are many here in Melbourne, butter is always used instead of margarine. The food overall gets a 3.0 out of 5 while service gets a 1 for poor attitude. But I wont be back due to poor attitude.

Friendly service and eye catching array of desserts and ready made foods. The spinach feta filo pastry I had was very tasty. Coffees were perfect.

    Our lovely local cafe.

Great selection of savory, sweet, hot and cold food and a huge variety of drinks!

Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and service speedy.

You can tell this establishment is well loved by the locals (and rightly so!).

I have been going to this cafe for as long as I can remember. Their food is delicious and as my tastebuds have changed, the menu always catered for them. I highly recommend coming here even if it is only for a cup of coffee.

Been to this cafe many times & it’s definitely a go to for my family.
It has a great variety of lunch & sweet options in the window including banana bread, almond croissants and cakes which always look delicious. As well as a great breakfast & lunch menu that is served all day.
The coffees are also great and I have had many mochas and chai lattes at this cafe.

Absolutely amazing food well presented along with great service. 🙂 I had the arancini ball which was huge and delicious. My dining partner had the avocado smash which was perfected with a delicious dukkah.
