I was surprised when I saw that this cafe had changed to the now ‘Amity Cafe’. Super lovely staff, with a simplistic menu at an semi affordable cost. I’m not a fan of only one price of bread with a smashed avocado and definitely need more avocado on too! So something for management to consider! Otherwise lovely open feel and a good solid feed if you’re in the area.
I haven’t done a review in a while but I couldn’t go past the treasure that is Amity Cafe. Tucked away in a little corner I’m so glad I stumbled across this gem! I ordered the Spanish Baked Eggs for something different to a crowd favourite smashed avo brunch. I was blown away by the PERFECT coffee and the punctuality of the service and friendliness of the staff. The food was on a whole other level and unlike any other cafe in the area. Definitely worth a visit, would recommend to any brunch/lunch lover!
This cafe gets me! Came in this morning and didn’t no what to have. I ended up settling on smashed avo with scramble eggs and the house made baked beans – and what a treat it was! The smashed avo was deliciously well seasoned and the scrambled eggs were light and fluffy! The addition of the beans was an excellent choice on this cold morning as they really warmed my insides. I also had a freshly squeezed OJ which was bang on and a nice strong coffee. Definitely coming back!
Service was great – they have a very attentive team and I love how spacious it was inside!
My wife and I have eaten here on two seperate occassions over the past week and have enjoyed it immensely. It’s the only cafe within walking distance that we have found that serves decent quality food for decent prices.
The service stands out as being exemplary and they are very accomodating to children and other requests you may have.
I ordered the chicken and the burger – both were good. My wife ordered the arancini balls both times and they were also good on each seperate occassion.
All in all, definitely worth a visit if youre in the area. Also has the advantage of being right next to Coles if you want to pick up a few things on the walk home.
Came to this cafe for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Not sure if new owners or refurbished but either way it’s got a fresh new look compared to before.
Really enjoyed the food -I had the pumpkin arachini balls which was extremely well cooked; quite crunchy and the salad on the side was refreshing and complimented the dish as a whole.
My husband ordered the burger; he said the meat was really tender and enjoyed the overall dish. The staff were extemely friendly and approachable. Prices were decent.
My hot chocolate was average; wish it was a bit more sweeter (my opinion only, yes I could add sugar but I don’t like to)
Definitely will pop by again.
Everything on the menu looks great. The smashed avo was amazing..a classic but delicious with lots of lemon and sumac. Coffee is also great
The coffee’s weren’t strong, food took over 35min to come and the waiting was way too long.
Waitress was nice
They need to pick up their pace with food
