Had the shepherd’s pie and calamari and some chips. Unfortunately they were all quite disappointing. The pie was basically just mince meat in a small mug size baking dish with a bit of potato on top. The meat was greasy and lacking in any positive tastes and the total portion size did not feel adequate for the price – it was tiny. The calamari and chips came out lukewarm at best. Both the calamari and shoestring style chips were very generic. They were cold before I got through half of them. The pie did come out hot however.
Overall was a bit disappointed as I expected better from a relatively suave cafe with a ‘to kill a mocking bird’ theme. Staff was courteous.
