I was invited here for a blogging event and I was pleasantly surprised at how inventive and interesting these dishes were!
The Yorkshire Benedict and Macadamia Hotcakes were highlights for me, each had great flavour and unique twists that made them memorable in a crowded Melbourne brunch scene. I will definitely be returning for that Benedict!! As a fan of not-to-sweet desserts I really loved the Hotcakes which had some really interesting, almost Mediterranean flavours woven throughout. The beef brisket ciabatta was a stand out in flavour, and the aai smoothie bowl had such a unique presentation and was light and refreshing.
Overall Focus is an excellent cafe with an expansive menu that surely will have something for everyone. Recommend for anyone after something a bit different to the regular brunch formula, paired with excellent coffee!
