Selenes Chocolate Cafe is in a great spot in Balwyn and it sort of reminds me of a Lindt cafe. They have all of these drinks and bites based on chocolate which is great for a sweet tooth.
When I visited this place it wasn’t very busy, so I was somewhat mystified that I wasn’t greeted in any way. I waited patiently whilst browsing their selection of chocolates. Finally I was asked “what I was after”. No hello no nothing. I bought a block of chocolate and wasn’t thanked. Amazing to me. I won’t be back.

Almond Matcha latte was quite sweet, apparently the powder came with sugar / syrup. The drink was made with so much TLC. Great customer service.Tried two handmade chocolate (one strawberry and the other with caramel) and both tasted too sweet for me even though the shop keeper said they were the least sweetest. Loved the tram picture.
Great coffee and hot chocolate. A nice place to sit down with friends and have a chat. I bought their hand made chocolates and everyone at home loved them. Strongly recommend.
