Loved the 70s decor and it looks like the menu hasn’t changed since then! Overall the food was tasty and cooked well. However my pet hate is being forced to share food with my fellow diners. Four of us at dinner and we were given 1 average bowl of chips and 1 fairly small salad between us. At the price you are charging it wouldn’t be too hard to provide seperate portions. And if you are going to make us share food then for heaven’s sake provide us with serving tongs/spoons.

Came here a couple of weeks ago
It’s a steak restaurant sort of like Vlado’s
there were 6 of us ordering porterhouse steaks.
Most ordered theirs medium to rare, I ordered mine medium to well.
When the steaks came out, all the other steaks were thick cut, however, as mine was more well done, they had pounded mine down to less than half as thick as the others , I guess so it would cook in the same amount of time.
Needless to say, it tasted like shoe leather, not a piece of meat that I paid $72 for.
Aside from that, when we all paid our bill, the waiter had a bad attitude the way it was split.
We spent over $500 dollars and if we hadn’t come in it would have been empty.
    Never again

Want to enter a time warp to see how a restaurant looked like in the 70’s ?
This could be the place for you (provided your not vegetarian). Perhaps not the place I would take my first date on either.

Three course meal is good value for money. Chevapcici are to die for. A little confused by the vegetable soup option for entree btw.

Steak is always cooked to perfection (on charcoal). Salad, fries and bread for sides. BYO too !

Choice of three or so options for dessert.

Looks like Stefan just sticks to doing what he does best. Bravo Stefan !

Surprisingly uncrowded on Saturday night. This is a set menu steak restaurant where meat quality is premium. We BYOd our wine which is important to us and we had a very good meal at what I would call a midrange price. Great service, great location, great parking, GREAT STEAK!!!
Will definitely be coming back again

Nice family friendly place, and suitable for those who would like a three course meal at an affordable <$100 price. All meat( steak/ribs/ mix) set come with entree and dessert, not suitable for vegetarians. Recommended for steak fans as the steak here is constant in quality for it’s output. Unlike many of the chain stores out there nowadays, there’s no consistency in steak output, ordering a medium rare can get you a medium, the consistency from the head chef here is unmatched elsewhere. I agree with one of the comments that this place may be a little out dated with its constant menu, but that’s what make it so reliable- you know what you pay for and what you will get. The other good thing about this place is you are never rushed to finish your meal. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy good wine with good company over good meat!

Went here with family and had a great 3 course steak experience. It’s all about the steak at Stefan’s and the set menu of entree, main, and dessert with tea/coffee is the best way to go if a little lacking in variety. The meat was very tender and very well cooked, the chef clearly taking great pride in his work.

Stefans is a odd place. The prices are far too high considering what is offered; he is charging Rockpool prices. especially the chevapccici’s which are a rip off. Stefan would make more money in my opinion my redoing the decor, dropping the prices and trying to fill more tables. Meat was ordered medium but came out as done, not what you want when you are coughing up good money. Side of chips were very average. The salad was extremely disappointing with old bits of dark green, gooey gone off rotten lettuce in the salad; obviously made and put in a bowl in the fridge for far too long. Stefan needs to smarten up his game or he will lose his small loyal following of customers.
