Club Kilsyth is definitely your old faithful. You go when you need a good feed and dont want to spend an arm and a leg. The staff are such an asset definitely 10/10. Ive never had a bad meal from here. I can always count that Ill have something that tastes good and is nice and hot. Hubby and I were those people that ran around all morning on Easter Monday and realised were starving and needed lunch but like nothing was open. We got to CK after 2pm and the kitchen was closing at 2:30pm and the staff were more than happy to seat us and take our order. Lamb shanks were incredibly tasty and the sauce was definitely not skimped on. Only complaint that I have is that I wish that maybe there had been some greens like some broccolini on the side (but thats just my personal preferance and not a reflection of the meal). Hubby had the chicken burger which was just divine. The double chicken breast combined with the Brie cheese and cranberry sauce worked an absolute treat! The membership also always pays for itself. I have been, and will continue to be a regular diner because its just a good local.
Very good food and friendly staff. Had the meat lovers parma. Best food i have ever had. My girlfriend also got a normal parma with gravy. Best gravy in the world she says.
Ate here Friday night for a friend’s 50th. Waiting staff were excellent, very polite and a real asset to the venue. The food however, was not. The Chicken Caesar Salad was very ordinary, tasteless and lacked presentation The chicken was just sliced meat thrown on the side and the bowl was filled up with large chunks of iceberg lettuce. The lamb shank was mostly bone and gristle with very little meat and the mash was watery and again, tasteless.I live just around the corner and yet don’t come here for a regular meal-for good reason!
Overcharged and no refund for a meal for one that they never delivered.went to submit a complaint after waiting exactly one hour.
Upon returing to my table after they were clearing it even though i hadnt had the chance to use it.
I told the FOH i hadnt eaten and to pass on a further complaint. I then walked out.
Was charged full price for a beer even though they advertised them at $5
My only order never arrived .heaps of staff walking around resetting and walking past me.No one approaced me. The manager left the room at 2.36pm
I had a lot of time to look at other peoples meals and compared it to the menu.
I can deduct that they are overpriced for the serving size.
I subsequently went to mc donalds and got a ceaser salad in 3 minutes .Suggest you do the same.
Delicious meals, hot and well priced. Staff are polite and very helpful. Very worthwhile getting a membership! Will definitely be going back, a very enjoyable lunch, thank you!!!!
Went today, ordered the roast beef. I specifically said no sauce or horseradish to be added. Arrived and of course it was smothered in god knows what dolloped over all the meat. I complained and was given a weak excuse that the chef hadn’t seen my specifics because the printout didn’t work properly. They took it away and bought a fresh roast. It was like leather inedible dry and tasteless. I won’t be back.
No complaints for the type of restaurant this is. It’s not fancy, but the food was nice enough and service was very good.
I had the arancini and rocket salad and enjoyed it, although the rocket was a bit dull and dry looking.
It can get a bit noisy when there’s lots of people there, so my group was happy to retire to the lounge area for coffee after the meals, so that we could hear each other better.
