Fantastic little place if you are looking for great tasting noodles.
Run by a husband and wife who are always happy to see you walk through their door.
The noodles themselves are wonderful, hot, full of meat and veggies and great tasting sauces all at a very reasonable price. One box which costs less than $10 will easily feed two people (or one very hungry person) have been coming here for years and will continue to for as long as they are around.
Noodles are fresh and hot. I ordered their Kway Teow and they were more than happy to modify the dish (more of one ingredient, none of another). Great value for $9 and delicious!
A freezing cold day in Bayswater, so a Curry Laksa was in order. Asked for extra spicy. Even though it was eat-in, I got a very thin plastic bowl with thin plastic tools. Laksa was quite nice without being very generous with the roasted pork, and it wasn’t very spicy. And the front door was kept open, so it was very cold in the shop. I would be more tempted to return if the meal was served in a real (warmed) bowl, and the door was closed.
They need to better cater for dine in guests.
The Best. The best Nasi Goreng and Mi Goreng I have ever tasted. Not too spicy and the amount you get for $8.50 is huge.
Great Great
Good Eat. Part of the Bayswater eat out rotation for me. Always consistent, always quick. Have tried alot of dishes from here, prefer most of the noodle dishes to the rice dishes. Haven’t had any soupy ones yet though. Good for the once a month return visit so you are never bored. Always surprised how much comes out of the square box when I put it in a bowl. Usually good for an extra serve to take to lunch next day, when you are too lazy to make a sandwich
Very nice owners
Hot and tasty. Noodles are always hot and fresh, no fuss, fast turnaround.
Owners are always delighted to see you, which is nice.
Get a free can of drink when you buy a box of noodles at lunchtime (before 3pm I think)
Serving sizes are quite large. I am a guts, and I have to split it into two, and eat half for lunch the next day.
