Pretty tasty dishes although portion is not as large as some other joints for the same price. Had the egg chiffon sauce with noodles, seafood fried noodles, beef brisket noodle, sweet n sour pork and rice. All dishes were quite tasty I would admit and I would be back! The take away bbq pork and crispy pork belly we bought as takeaway was too salty though unfortunately.

Got takeaway roast duck and crispy pork. Duck is flavoursome and the crispy pork is crispy. Rice has a nice soy sauce flavour to it. Lots of rice for its price and meat is decent. Only downfall is not much veggies.

Place just newly opened. The crispy pork belly had too much fat. Service was good and attentive. We ordered the chef special $11.80 for noodles soup with 2 roasts. The soy sauce chic was ok but given too much bones and no meat…what a let down.

Been waiting for this place to open for a couple of weeks and finally came over tonight ordered some simple stuff.

Had their famous Cantonese BBQ: Crispy pork belly; roast duck and chicken in soy sauce.

The crispy pork belly was slightly fat, for me I wish it was leaner. Crackling was very crispy though.

Roast duck was very good as well but wish the plum sauce is slightly thicker.

Chicken in soy sauce is probably my fav. Extremely tender and it wasn’t overly salty too.

Overall the BBQ is pretty good in the area you can find. Full house of Cantonese staff so for me it definitely feels like home and I enjoyed it there. Will be back 🙂

New place in Bayswater that is Cantonese style BBQ. We had a selection of dishes including two from the BBQ selection.

The honey BBQ Sausage was especially good and the honey BBQ Pork was quite nice. It had very little fat on it so was not quite as tender as it could have been but was tasty. The chinese style filet beef was very tender and the sauce quite good. The special fried rice was far better than average and noted by the table as such. There was no problems to get this without prawn.
The fried food was also good and crispy, which is great, especially the wantons.
There are a few things to work on though. As it is a new place the wait staff haven’t yet got their routine down, so there was sometimes a bit too much attention or repetition of questions. Still, it did ensure you got attention when you wanted it.

Serving sizes are reasonable and I think next time we will try something with a bit more spice!

Ordered a takeaway from this place months ago. Hubby and I found the meals not flavourful; and also expensive compared to other joints offering the same dishes. Tiny portions too. Will not come back.

Great variety of food and quite good hongkong style roast meat.
The roast duck has the crisp on the skin and a hint of orange on it which make it very delish. Not the best one in Melbourne but definately above average. ( the best one so far I know in Melbourne is at Roast Duck inn at Box Hill).

Their bbq pork is quite good as well. The roast pork belly is ok.

The place is quite clean and the waiter is quite attentive and friendly.

Pricing wise is standard I would definately come back again as I have a good experience dining here once with friends and second time with family.

Definately a good alternative of Glen waverley usual chinese bbq roast place.
