Decided to try somewhere different before work this morning, but after my experience here I wish I hadn’t.
I guess I shouldn’t have expected much considering the small size and the basic design of the place. But the menu did seem reasonably interesting.
What surprised me initially was the reasonably poor service from the staff. When my coffee was brought over to me there was minimal communication from the barista, who also appeared to be the owner. And the coffee itself was the sort I’d expect from a chain cafe, overly frothy with limited flavour. But the worst was still yet to come.
Even though there was very few others in the cafe my order still took ages to arrive. And when it finally did I was surprised to find a mess of a dish: burnt bacon, eggs poached for too long, and some kind of topping thrown around the edges of the plate with no real purpose.
I would have to say one of the worst cafes I have been to in a while. Would not recommend it to anyone!

Service was fairly slow. Food was less than average. The burger and sandwich we ordered looked big but was just full of lettuce which made it messy to also eat as it kept falling out. Chai was all stuck at bottom of cup and not stirred properly. Spoon was too short for the cups it came in, could barely get a good grip. I don’t mind waiting – if the food was good.

Friendly staff & accomodating cook. Well worth a visit for their all day brekkie menu. Best hollandaise sauce – to die for! Very reasonably priced too. I have become a weekly regular for weekend brunch.
