Such a little gem. There are so many fancy breakfast places that this little cottage is a nice basic place to eat! The eggs Benedict is delicious and classic and the customer service makes you feel right at home!

Give it a miss. Lots of better brunch places in this area. Slow service and not even busy for a Sunday (5 tables when we arrived) and when I asked why other tables who arrived after us were getting their drinks before us she simply walked off to ‘ find out ‘ and never came back. No apologies or explanation offered. Food arrived 5 mins later and the eggs were undercooked and the bacon and sides were stone cold, it was such a shame as the actual taste of food was good.. I was too hungry and annoyed at this point to send the food back as we needed to be somewhere, and it took an hour from when we sat down til we got food, then our drinks (a smoothy and juice what’s so complicated) arrived during the meal! No one bought our table water but water was given to all other tables while we watched wondering if we were invisible.. Went in too pay, same lady sent a junior to register and no one asked how was the meal or sorry about the delay or did we want coffees. Very disappointing experience.

Friendly & efficient service. Quaint cottage gardens. Really nice chai latte and good coffee. Salmon was cooked well and very enjoyable. The arancini balls were a good size and flavour and had a nice yoghurt dressing, the accompanying lentil salad had a good amount of zingy dressing. The scones look huge and I’ve heard they are great, so we shall return for those.

Very disappointed. Small serves….dirty tea cup. Dirty toilet and sink. Definitely tension in the staff and no one was smiling! Almost empty too. It was amazing with previous owners. We won’t be returning.

Have been here a few times over the years and love that they change their menu up so that there is usually something new to try whenever I have been here. Their pancakes and waffles are usually good. Tried the corn fritters this time around and enjoyed the balance of flavours but found that the fritters and the poached were a tad undercooked. Besides that, everything else we ordered were lovely and the staff were friendly as usual.
Recommend going there for brunch as they have a lovely outdoor eating space as well which is beautiful in summer.

Out for a coffee. Looking for a new destination. Corner Post Cafe was a pleasant surprise. V Good coffee, interesting surrounds. Helpful staff. V accommodating to our choosey grand daughter.

We’ve done family lunches here dozens of times as The Post Office was a firm favourite with lovely staff. However today’s main meals were so tiny they were less than entree size servings of pasta and risotto.
I love eating out and am happy to pay for it but when we asked about the very small portions, Mel assured us this was their ‘standard size’ , but all three of us left still quite hungry and charged full price with no apology so we will sadly now will be looking for a new favourite cafe.
We’re not big eaters and it’s not like pasta and rice are expensive ingredients guys!
