Just paid $8 for a pot of Mountain Goat! Most expensive beer ever @ 3193 Bistro Beaumaris. I should have asked the price first! I don’t drink out much; it’s this normal?! And he tried to charge me 9 until I asked if he thought I gave him a 5. Ha!

The staff here are lovely. Great service. The food was great. 4 of us eating and we had the Works Burger, seafood basket, butter chicken and prawn twisters. Delicious. The owner Craig is a great bloke. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Not the best experience- we ordered the special of 4 tapas for $49.50 and got charged $51.50 (only $2 but you shouldn’t even need to double check) also had a side of fries and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was served with no poached egg? All items were like warm and the buffalo wings were undercooked – still can’t work out what held up the meal, had a 25 min wait for this which was all luke warm and we were the only ones in the restaurant- but plenty in the bar. Cudos to the waitress who was on her own for most of the time managing everything. Glad they serve The Darling Sauv Blanc- one of my faves.
