An inspiring menu, great service, and the cocktail menu is amazing!! Would 100% recommend for families, couples or special events.I’m vegetarian and although the set menu doesn’t have the widest range of choice, the specials did! I had the special flatbread, some sides, and the snow fairy cocktail.
My partner and I have just had lunch at the 6 Keys Restaurant in Beaumaris. We were greeted by 2 young males who explained in detail what each dish entailed. After ordering, our meal was promptly served. Everything was to our liking. The 2 young males even took time out of their busy schedule to chat to us and make sure we were satisfied. When dessert was served that was something to remember, it was delicious.
I have dined at restaurants, clubs and pubs in all states of Australia as well as eating places overseas and I have yet to be treated as we were treated at 6 Keys Restaurant. The owner should be proud of them.

What changed!!? Well, Ill tell you…
The menu has certainly changed! And its left with bits and pieces of nothing in comparison to the beautiful menu it used to have.
And its so quiet! Im used to this place bustling and chatting and happy, this time, it was awkward.
Im not saying that this place now sucks, its still alright. It just seems like theres a new chef in town, some new wait staff, whom would rather be somewhere else and empty tables on a Friday night.
Unfortunately we wont be back, only for the fact it used to be so good and now, its just ok.
** Initial Review**
My partner and I came here hoping to get a seat without a booking on a Friday night. We should have known better.
When we got there, there was a spare table outside, which we decided to take.
We ordered a few different small plates to share.
The food is fantastic!! Really delicious, simple and well made. We shared a bottle of red and sampled food in the evening light. Really nice.
If you go, book a table!
Great food for sharing! Highly recommend!!
