We ended up here after a nearby, well known, beachfront fish and chip shop informed us they had run out of fish. And chips. At 5pm. After waiting in line for half an hour. Surprise! Opps! Suddenly all gone. Foresight. Planning. Anyway. This place was a gamble with no prior reviews and with the knowledge that yes, it is possible to do fish and chips very wrong. And yet, here you couldn’t get more fish and chippy fish and chips. Glistening yellow. Even the grilled flake was moist. $4.50 worth of medium chips fed three adults and two greedy dogs. Date tip: drive your budget perfect fish and chips a few minutes down the road to Ricketts Point and eat at one of the many picnic tables. Just call me the master of the romance.
