Love coming with my mum. We tend to get a coffee and order two almond croissants. Always fresh, service is very polite. Love the laid back feel.
A little cafe tucked away in a side street off beach rd. This place seems to be more known for their coffee than their breakfast, and in saying that, the coffee I had was pretty good. I ordered the simple avocado with tomato and feta and to be honest I wasn’t expecting very much. And not much, I got. I mean, it wasn’t terrible, it was just a bit boring and lacklustre.
Next time I visit, I was told I should try their cakes and pastries.
On the fence. Been here three times for brunch, and popped in a few times for a takeaway coffee. Overall my experiences have been pretty good. Not sure if the food is a little over-priced compared to other alternatives in the area. Was a little disappointed recently when we visited and had the poached eggs with avocado and fetta on toast. All tasted fine but one of the two pieces of bread on my wife’s plate was a crust not much bigger than a 50 cent piece. If you’re going to charge $18, please don’t insult us by giving us a tiny piece of crust rather than a proper slice of bread. Generally though, the food is pretty good.
The breakfast is always great! It’s nice to find a place that cooks their bacon well and and always consistent. I’m not sure why so many other cafes undercook their bacon. Charmingly low-key atmosphere marooned on lovely Keys Road. I haven’t even started to talk about the cakes and coffee. Get in there and grab yourself a jam donut!

Read the reviews & had to try as good coffee is hard to come by on the Bayside some say its the excessive moisture that affects the beans but alas Whisk & Grind have destroyed the myth. I had 2 coffees today that were amazing—no milk or sugar to mask depth & flavour just pure black coffee at its best well done Whisk & Grind.
