What an amazing Thai place!
This little gem is hidden inside an old bank (once you are inside, you can see one of the doorway still got the old bank vault sign there!). The interior retains that old building with tasteful Thai decorations.
Food and drinks are exceptional here. Ordered the bartender special – Coconut Dream – it serves in a young coconut! Very tasty, really have this tropical feel to it. The Singapore sling is totally delicious! It is much needed on a rather warm day.
We have ordered the Potato Noodle Prawns and Fresh Peking Duck Rolls. The duck roll is excellent, with the duck and the salad in the pancake wrap, topped with sweet chilli sauce. The Potato Noodle Prawns are so crunchy on the outside and cooked just right in the inside.
With main, we had the massaman curry with chicken and fish in banana leaf. The curry is mild, sweet and creamy. It has pineapple and peanuts for that little crunch. Now that fish in banana leaf, that cooked just right. Fish was so soft and silky with the chili sauce on top, making it such a remarkable dish.
Overall, this is a place worthy of traveling to Bendigo!
