The best Indian food I have had in a LONG time! We are only in town for the weekend, but what a great experience! First of all, there is a SEPARATE VEGAN MENU, which is just amazing because it can be very difficult to get vegan Indian food! We ordered online using their website which allows you to select each item and also the level of spice you want, with an option to pay online or in store. The prices are incredibly reasonable! We went and picked it up from the cosy little cafe. Although it was busy, we weren’t kept waiting long for the food. The servers was friendly and polite, and one of the chefs handed our food to us in a cardboard box (eco friendly!). The pumpkin masala and chickpea masala were both amazing – perfect level of spice (although I always ask for an extra side of chilli, which they provided free of charge). The roti was huge! I am so satisfied and I can’t wait to return to Bendigo to sample more vegan Indian meals from Food o’clock’s menu!
Best Indian food for hundreds of Km. Authentic, friendly and comfortable. Fragrant subtle spice and great traditional accompaniments and heat where and if you want it. Top notch and very well priced.
We had a really tasty meal here – all the standard Indian favourites are available here, lots of veggie options with even a vegan menu! We were really impressed by the friendly quick service – the constant stream of people coming to get takeaway showed Bendigo loves this place too!
