  This place came recommended from a friend. Service is great, the people are very kind here. I ordered the fettuccine and it was alright, though all the parmisan layered on top wasn’t really to my taste. In retrospect I should’ve ordered a lighter meal as I felt quite full before finishing the dish.

  Fortunately I was able to ask the guy attending us if we could bring the remainder of the pasta home in a container, and he was only too happy to oblige. What I did try was alright though. The Harcourt apple juice I had with it was delicious. My mother had some pancakes and she really enjoyed those. To take away we got some muffins which were quite yummy.

  I was excited to try this cafe on recommendations from my family, and my husband and I went for breakfast today. We were told no tables were available, which was fine and we said we would wait. The waitress told us it would be half an hour, which we thought seemed excessive but we still said we would wait. She seemed surprised we would wait and then said she’d take our number and call us when a table became available. After waiting half an hour and still no phone call, we went back and were seated by a different waiter straight away. We noticed that there were many new groups seated and were not very impressed. We ordered from the waitress who had said she’d call us and the food arrived quickly (again served by the original waitress) which was great, and we both enjoyed the food. After we had both finished, we got a phone call from the waitress saying a table was free. By this time there had been many groups come and go, and about five tables were currently free, not to mention the waitress had been serving us at our table for the past half an hour. Quite disappointed with this service, and although food was nice, I wouldn’t come back.

  Always love to come here though the last two times made me think things had slipped both times meals were forgotten and when they came were cold not good at all service was a bit lacking which was disappointing as it was always so good hope these problems can be addressed

  Amazing breakfast- especially the home made tomato relish. No matter how busy they are it always comes out quickly. Super friendly staff. Their sourdough bread is great also.

  Popular with locals always a good sign. Loved the beetroot cakes an home made sourdough. Smashed avocado as good as you can get. Close your eyes and you could be at the best in Melbourne. Friendly staff.

  Here I am, two months later, and the quality is as good as my first visit. 9am on a Sunday and already 20 pax. This time I opted for the pulled pork Benedict; two perfectly poached eggs, a smooth and tasty hollandaise and just the right amount of pork. OMG another 10 pax whilst writing, are here. Coffee perfect. This place is a little pricey but well worth it with great service and food.

  Delicious food made with care and love & lots of fresh local produce and amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had lunch with our friend that had a baby & the staff were really helpful and accommodating and really went out of their way to help out with the baby. We will definitely be telling our other friends that when they are in Bendigo to be sure to pop in and visit. Wonderful
