Came here before a movie for some cold drinks and cake, the girl who served us was very informative about the ingredients in the cakes when I said I had an allergy. Great vibe, tasty nosh! will be back!
I can generally agree with other reviews of this establishment, the staff are friendly and easy to deal with but the food really isn’t up to scratch. My partner and I frequently find ourselves here generally due to the dining atmosphere or because of the kitchen open hours, but will not make the mistake or ordering anything larger then a small snack and drinks as the meals simply aren’t worth it.
The coffee here is average at best, many cafes in Bendigo will serve a far better tasting latte for the same price.

Well firstly to review a food and beverage establishment you need to be actually served .
The last time I went their waited 20min and still wasn’t given a menu (is a fully waited service) I just recently went their whichh is why i am blogging now…..waited 30min read the Sunday Herald and in this time I was seated but no menu given from which to order from.
This is simply not good enough service especially in a smaller town like Bendigo. Appalling service as such I can’t even rate the food!
Disappointed. Went in for lunch on a Sunday. Weather was warm nd sunny so sat outside and was told would be with us shortly. We waited and waited. After waiting nearly 20 mins and the waitresses serving a table that arrived after us we left. It was not overly busy at the time. Wont be back!!
Disappointed. Went for lunch on saturday 28th Jan 2014, group of 5 of us. Received our drinks and 2 received their meals, other 3 were waiting on a Nacho’s to share. 10 or more minutes passed and it still had not arrived, waited another 5 minutes before we finally caught the waiter and asked where it was and he checked on the screen and I can only presume he had not put it on the order as he did not advise but just said he was sorry and did we want them takeaway?? We of course said no as our 2 other guests had finished their meals. Paying was even more difficult for the girl as trying to split the bill was just too hard for her to understand, certainly not an enjoyable experience and not interested in heading back.
It wasn’t even busy and we waited half an hour for two meals, which were only sandwiches. The waiter was helpful, however the meal was overpriced and you don’t get the chips and salad you get with all sandwiches if you make your own. With dietary requirements, this is annoying. For a franchise I expected it to be cheaper in price.
