Sunday morning live blues band.Artisan market . Retro distressed junky seating. Carrot walnut pineapple cake and a cup of just warm mocha. Will buy a load of bread though as they look amazing. The breakfasts on the next table looked substantial.
Went to this place for lunch expecting an amazing lunch I ordered the chicken avo focaccia and it was dry barely any mayo and minimal chicken for the price with limp lettuce
My mother ordered a basic egg and bacon sandwich it was like old cardboard no butter on the bread the bacon was like leather and the egg well you get my point
And we got a vegetarian frittata between us and It was adequate enough to choke down not that enjoyable
Also a large cappachino and a 600ml solo
The meal cost $42
I will not be going here again and highly recommend against this place

Heard that their bread was really good, so brought the family there to try it out, turns out it wasnt a disappointment.
We ordered Turkey Focaccia, Chicken & Avocado Focaccia, TGL (The Good Loaf Breakfast), Pulled Pork Burrito, Vegetarian Focaccia, Indian Baked Beans and all Cappuccino. Everyone was satisfied with their meals and coffee.
Really enjoyed the whole ambience and settings there. Not only their breads are made fresh every day, but their honey are fresh from their roof top too. YES! They do bee-keeping upstairs.
Definitely give this place a try when visiting Bendigo.
Nice little caf with pleasent staff, food isn’t bad but somethings are expensive for what they are.
The photos are of a chicken and avo focacia, a quiche and a savory muffin.
I had the best French toast at the good loaf sourdough bakery. Nice hot French toasts were made of corn bread, served with maple syrup and mascarpone( was mixed with vanilla beans), topped up with banana. It was just amazing. Coffee was good, too. Thank you for the beautiful breakfast, will see you very soon.
Stumbled upon this great cafe in the centre of town. Very child friendly with special kids sandwich pack as well as toys and blackboard for drawing. Fresh bread made on premise and simple but delicious menu.
Seems a bit overpriced for the food offered in the cafe- didn’t have the chance to try the bread, but one orange cake slice was 6.50 and a tad on the sweet side…the coffee milkshake also tasted a bit dodgy. Service was good though 🙂
