Busy for a Wednesday night, staff is very attentive, and I was pleased with the experience. I had the special which was Seafood linguine, something I tend to try when away from home.
The mussels, calamari and prawns were all cooked absolutely perfectly. Linguine was spot on, the only negative was it was supposed to be in a rich Napoli sauce, which was a little watery due to too much liquid.
Otherwise, good food, great service and excellent beer and wine options.
This is a newly refurbished establishment. We had visited the Gallery to view an exhibition and were keen to try something new. We were greeted by friendly staff and invited to a warm area in the restaurant. The menu looked interesting and we ordered the crumbed lamb chops with mango salsa and rocket with feta. Delicious. My friend order the chicken gnocchi with honey. Generous and delicious. We were offered the wine list and chose the Beechworth Pino Grigio. Perfect. A great experience
Sunday night, 6pm on the night of the Jimmy Barnes Concert. Hotel packed. Pressure on for staff and kitchen. Wait staff were calm and friendly at the tables, accelerating meals for those going to the concert. They were running to deliver meals and clear tables. Kitchen was magnificent, our meals arriving within 15 minutes. The meal was excellent and we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience. Concert goers gone by 7.20. Congratulations on a great job! Well be back.
