Had their twice cooked pork belly ramen soup.soup base was great .lovely soft eggs and a delicous cut of pork belly. However the big let down was the ramen . Just like 2 minute noodles. The Japanese chicken curry was tender and mild.
We went to the Kangaroo Flat outlet.. Driving through this town we felt like eating Japanese food, so I googled this place and this web site was very impressive with lots of choices and their colour photos of their food was so appetising. However when we arrived there it’s a totally different story. I found the staff rude abrupt and slow. My daughter wanted an avocado roll and staff wasn’t willing to make one. We ordered miso soup and took so long to be standing at the counter and wait for it. While we were waiting other families wanted avocado rolls and was staff quickly answered with a no more left! Still waiting for our miso soup they had many customers and their ‘stock’ was low, when another family asked for avocado rolls she said OK. The miso finally came, because we ordered four she gave a carry tray. On the way to a table around the corner to the food hall, the tray fell apart and the hot miso soup slipped on my five year olds face and all over my arms. We were both scolded. For those who are also driving through this area and have no idea about this area. It’s not a restaurant, it’s just a take away outlet. With no chairs to sit and near the shop. Totally disappointed with the staffs attitude.
