Good old fashioned coffee.
The girls give a nice and warm service. All items are well priced. Typical tradies spot for breakfast and lunch. Above average for quality and service
On a chilly, winter’s weekend we braved the frosty morn to venture to warmer weather: the Chesterville Bakery in fact. Upon arrival, the soothing scent of baked pastry and cakes wafted upwards into our nostrils; reassuring us that our journey had been warranted. The friendly staff who open their doors at hours ungodly provided quality service with a smile. The baked goods themselves were delicious: our hot jam donut was liberally sprinkled with sugar and the jam generously injected into a womb of decadent batter. On top of this, the chocolate glazed donuts you may recognise from this page’s very own cover photo are reason enough to visit this bakehouse: the perfect trinity of batter, icing and sprinkle. All in all, a suburban treat tucked away in a convenient location and well worth a try!
Friendly staffs. Local bakery shop. Good for value. The food is tasty and the coffee is good. There is also an outside area with chairs and umbrellas to relax.
Been there 3 times, and I should have said NEVER AGAIN the first time.
Time #1 I ordered a coffee, the lady behind the counter was too busy chatting to the people in the window and did not put fresh grinds in the machine. When I asked her if she could please use fresh grinds she insisted she did. The coffee tasted of dirt and burnt plastic- ABSOLUTLY REVOLTING
Time #2 Was two weeks ago, I went in to order a sandwich and a pie. I stood there for ages and when it was my turn the lady who just walked in was greeted with her name and asked what she wanted- thankfully this lady said I was first. The service got WORSE from here. I was being served and then the lady who was serving me just disapeared! No idea where she went to, no exclamation. There was a man behind the counter who was not doing anything and was watching something outside- my server was helping a customer with an umbrella while I was waiting for her to get my items! No one else came to help me and I had to wait while my lady was helping someone outside and the available guy refused to serve me! Once she came back she thought offering me a free gingerbread man should make up for it!
Time #2 just now I went in to buy some things, I thought can’t be back 3 times in a row…. I was wrong! I waited my turn then a lady came in and was greeted straight away by name and served before me! I walked out. They don’t deserve my money or my networks business!
MORAL OF THIS STORY- don’t bother going here unless you are a regular! They don’t care about you- which is a shame as it’s at the end of my street and if they were smart they would have got another DAILY customer!
Quality coffee at this spot. Creamy and hot! Nice little courtyard out the back and the service is great. The lades are the best!
