Walked out…..
Very understaffed- took ages for our order to be taken first.
Food was still not ready after 35 mins.
I then watched the chef handle raw bacon while testing poached eggs which we then left.
It looked like our food was plated after 20mins but no eggs on it.
I also watched a table of 2 and a table of 1 walk out in the time we spent there.

So happy to have come across this local cafe! Coffee is great and the menu is impressive. I ordered the poncho greens which came with asparagus, green beans, kale, beetroot hummus, poached eggs, haloumi and a side of bacon. Such a tasty meal and an incredibly generous portion size!
Great staff, friendly atmosphere & good food. All around a great place. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and would highly recommend the scrambled eggs.
Had a great meal here. I live in Adelaide and always very excited to go to poncho and have there excellent coffee. Food is always fresh and wish Adelaide had a poncho.
A mum with a 7-month old looking for a quick lunch at the local shops. I ordered the soup special as soon as I arrived and sat down to feed my son his lunch. I waited for over 30mins and during that time I noticed that there weren’t any other lunch orders placed with the kitchen. The girl at the counter finally realised that my lunch hadn’t arrived and checked with the kitchen and informed me that my lunch wasn’t far away. A few minutes passed and I was still waiting and my son was getting restless. I asked for my lunch as a takeaway and made my way to the counter to pay for it. As I was paying, I asked the girl if they had forgotten my order and she said yes but offered no apology. Sensing a lack of urgency from them, I decided to walk away without getting my money back. Arrogant service.
Forgot my simple coffee order and no apology when it finally arrived. Coffee was a nice blend. Food is fresh but fairly standard fare 28/6/17
