What I got was garlic bread, drink and TOUGH, CHEWY GNOCCHI. The gnocchi was hard and white in the middle.
Called and informed them of this. They asked if I wanted a new one. I said yes.
Got there, the guy didn’t make a new one, but instead argued with me that it’s meant to be that way. I’ve ordered from there previously, and I’ve had it soft and fluffy. Mind you, my partner tried it as well, and spat it out.
Eventually he just agreed to make me a pizza (even though I didn’t want pizza, but gnocchi). While waiting for the pizza, kept insisting that the gnocchi was made correctly and even went to cut the gnocchi and showed it to me. It was white and uncooked, and he insisted that’s how it’s meant to be.
I got the pizza which was a small, and asked for my difference in the meal back, and he refused and said he was doing me a favour.
I started walking out, and said he was a rip off, and I was thinking to never here again. He called me back, gave me the money and told me to never come back.
Went home and threw the pizza in the bin. I could have made the pasta myself from the start and it would have been tastier and quicker. Which is what I’m going to end up doing now.
This kind of attitude and bad food will kill your own business. So for now I’ll sit back and watch while karma bites you.
P.S: I’ve had both pizza and pasta (including the gnocchi) and never had a problem before. In fact, I ordered pizza 3 times last week and just wanted gnocchi for a bit of change.
The way it should be.. Just went with ol’ Telex, used to have it heaps when i was younger. Was delicious. Came hot and very tasty.
26 for 2 family pizzas. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!
I’m done with Crust in Bentleigh . Ordered a few weeks ago and it was crap. Thought I’d give it another go again tonight and they were going to charge me $50 for two large/medium pizza. Pffft!

The pizzas are very generous with toppings and so very reasonably priced. I’ve NEVER finished eating dissatisfied!

If Only I could give another thumbs up!!. This Pizza place deserves every single thumbs up it gets! The pizza base is crunchy, good amount of toppings and I don’t know about you but I like my pizza to have cheese on it (perfect amount!!) Good service, prompt, great taste and not pricey. Well Done Telex Pizza!!!
Ordinary. Run of the mill ordinary pizza. Nothing stands out. Overloaded with cheese. I don’t like pizzas where layer of cheese is put right on the top. I don’t think that this high rating is genuine (92% at time of writing).
That said, I feel bad putting in this review because they are friendly local and I wouldn’t want a small business to lose money.
